Hello,
I’m glad to hear that the war memorial from St Pauls has been given a new home in the Centre. My family has late 1800s roots in Trimdon and people like myself might not have ever lived there but Trimdon is still important to us. I guess the community is a lot wider than you would think, including people from past generations and their descendants as well as those who live there today.
If you have any photos I’d love to see one on your photos section at some time.

(nb - my great grandad was a 'Stoves' born in Trimdon, a miner from a young age, he was killed in WW1 and my grandma was one of his surviving children).

Hi, Dave here, I was born and raised in Trimdon Foundry and I have just logged onto your site, seeing a photo of the center where I spent most of my youth playing snooker and other things, brought back memories that I really enjoyed. Good, simple, easy-to-navigate site. Especially enjoyed the brass band sample! Some suggestions - How about some more up-to-date events information, prices for room hire, room availability at the Community Centre, links to websites of Centre Users such as cardiac rehab service?
