Hello, I’m glad to hear that the war memorial from St Pauls has been given a new home in the Centre. My family has late 1800s roots in Trimdon and people like myself might not have ever lived there but Trimdon is still important to us. I guess the community is a lot wider than you would think, including people from past generations and their descendants as well as those who live there today. If you have any photos I’d love to see one on your photos section at some time. all the best. Christine (nb - my great grandad was a 'Stoves' born in Trimdon, a miner from a young age, he was killed in WW1 and my grandma was one of his surviving children). -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Dave Harrison Sent 15/11/2009
Hi, Dave here, I was born and raised in Trimdon Foundry and I have just logged onto your site, seeing a photo of the center where I spent most of my youth playing snooker and other things, brought back memories that I really enjoyed. I am 65 years of age left Trimdon when I was 18, I now live in Redcar. Please keep this web site open, you are doing a great job. I will be watching this space. Doesn't seem to be a lot going on for the children of the community?! Everything else looks/sounds great though! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Sal Sent 07/05/2009
Good, simple, easy-to-navigate site. Especially enjoyed the brass band sample! Some suggestions - How about some more up-to-date events information, prices for room hire, room availability at the Community Centre, links to websites of Centre Users such as cardiac rehab service? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Christine Coomber Sent: 05/06/2008 Hi, I attend the Line Dancing class on a Tuesday night and think its great. I would like to congratulate the web designer on an excellent site. Found it easy to navigate around and keep up the good work staff and Management Committee members. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Name: Ashley Sent: 07/26/2007
